Wing week brought my friends and I into Mighty Moe’s for our first time. First of all, the food is amazing!!! The smoked BBQ wings were finger-licking good. I had to get two orders of wings because that sweet and spicy BBQ sauce was delicious! Moe and the bartenders were really sweet and friendly. He told us about all the events coming up. The bar was really comfortable and you can tell their patrons have been going for some time. Would definitely come back!
We went for The Reggae/Dancehall on Saturday night with some friends. We all were impressed by the cleanliness of the place. The atmosphere is perfect. Staff are polite, kind and professional. Owner is always friendly and is present he came by and our guests met him for the first time. If you haven't been yet then I can say without a shadow of doubt, You are missing out on a great, awesome, enjoyable spot to have fun. What are you waiting for? Get over there!
I love this space. Great for local events! The location is even better, with easy access to the shops and bars all down Hawthorne. Moe is very friendly and welcoming as well. He hooked me up with a pork sandwich, which was really tasty. It's definitely a vibe I enjoyed.
Back in late October, the door guy accused my ID of being fake because my hair is no longer dyed the color it is in my ID photo and refused to let me in. Wouldn't even let my husband, who he'd waved through immediately before denying me, bring me out a glass of water to sip on while we waited for our buddy who we'd been planning on meeting there to pay his bill so we could all leave, since it's pretty ludicrous to accuse someone of having a fake ID simply because their hair is no longer green. He said the reason why I couldn't even have some water brought to me was actually because he refused to serve me because I was too drunk. Considering I had driven there and had not had anything to drink at the time, this added insult to injury. The only upshot, I guess, was that I got accused of being under 21 when I'm over 30. Anyways, I got invited by a friend to a DJ night next month and their BBQ did smell divine, so I'm tentatively giving the joint another shot. I'm posting this now in the hopes that they see it and the same guy doesn't pull the same thing on me again. Nonsense. UPDATED VERSION: Moe rules and makes the best bloody Mary I've had in years. The man puts Old Bay in them. OLD BAY. My southern self can't explain properly how important that is. My first experience is clearly an aberration.

the owner here is such an amazing person he really does go above and beyond to make all his customers feel welcomed and wanted as well as happy. I always have a fantastic time at Moe's the drinks are good, the food is mouthwatering, and the vibe is one of a kind. My number 1 choice for any Monday night or special weekend to either stay all night, simply start out the adventure or end it with my best friends. If you want a place filled with great people and the best music this is the place to go! Thank you so much Moe for giving us a safe and carefree place to get some much needed relief from all the stress and struggles we have all experienced throughout each day.
Mighty Moe's Tanker is such a beautiful little spot! It's a little small, but even when I have seen it packed out, it wasn't uncomfortable at all! People are respectful, bartenders are darling, and the owner Moe is such a gem! It is all family vibe! I started regularly going when I was going through a super hard time and they were my safe space and comforting support!
A great little spot for house music, live bands or just a place to get a drink or 2. Has food but very few options. The bartenders and owner are all very friendly.
